The AAP chief said that under the Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana, the Delhi government bears the entire cost of pilgrimage of senior citizens to Jagannath Puri, Rameshwaram, Shirdi, Mathura, Haridwar, Tirupati and other places. More than 35,000 senior citizens have made pilgrimage under this scheme.
