This service on IRCTC mobile-app is expected to start in the first week of March

However, this service on the IRCTC mobile-app is expected to start in the first week of March, after which the public will be able to book bus tickets through mobile. According to the statement, IRCTC has tied up with over 50,000 state road transport as well as private bus operators covering 22 states and three union territories to provide online bus booking service to customers.
In this new facility of online bus booking, customers can view different types of buses and select the bus based on route, facilities, reviews, ratings and photos of the bus. Along with this, customers will also be able to choose their pick-up and drop point and timing. Also the running banks and e-wallets will book their trip at a reasonable price with discounts.
IRCTC, the service provider for train and flight booking, aims to provide last mile connectivity to passengers using IRCTC’s services.
