Star Air has started flight service between Kalburgi in Karnataka to Tirupati. Flights will run on these routes 4 days a week and passengers will be able to reach their destination in 70 minutes. After this, devotees will now be able to get relief in the Tirupati Balaji temple.
Bengaluru Now, to reach Tirupati Darshan from Kalburgi and nearby small towns can be reached in 70 minutes. StarAir has started flights between the two cities from Monday. Kalburgi MP Dr. Umesh Jadhav released it on Monday. During this period, officials of the Ministry of Aviation and the Airport Authority of India (AAI) were also present.
Flights will be operated between the two places on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. This flight from Kalburgi will take off at 09:55 am and will arrive at Tirupati at 11:00 am. To return from there, Tiru will leave Pati at 2:25 pm and arrive at Kalburgi at 03:30.
While introducing the facility between Kalburgi and Tiru Pati, Jadhav expressed happiness and requested StarAir to start flight services from Mumbai, Hyderabad and other important cities as well.
Will also be connected to other pilgrimage centers
Sanjay Ghodawat, managing director of Sanjay Ghodawat Group, which operates StarAir, was also present here. He said that StarAir is already offering flight services from the state capital Bengaluru to Kalburgi. There are also flights from here to the national capital. Now it is being connected to other important pilgrimage centers of the country.
Apart from Balaji temple, it is also famous for these things
There is Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati, which is famous as ‘Tirupati Balaji Temple’. It is one of those pilgrimage places where a large number of devotees visit every year. Every day around 50 thousand to 1 lakh devotees come here to visit. Apart from Tirupati Balaj Temple, this place is also famous for other historical temples, Sri Venkateswara National Park, Deer Park, Tirupati and Talakon Falls.
Since, earlier there was no flight service on this route. Therefore thousands of devotees used to reach Tirupati via road or train. In this, they had to travel for 12 to 20 hours to cover a distance of 630 kilometers. But now, after StarAir started flight service, Tirupati can be easily seen.
Explain that last year, StarAir got permission to start flight service between Kalburgi-Tirupati under the ‘Udaan Scheme’ through the bidding process.
