Platform ticket in Mumbai 5 times more expensive
Platform prices have also increased in Mumbai. Central Railway has increased the price of platform tickets of major stations of Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) by 5 times. The new rates of platform tickets in Mumbai have been implemented from 1 March and will remain till 15 June. Here, the price of platform ticket has been kept at 50 rupees, so that more people do not come to the station unnecessarily, so that the crowd does not increase and social distancing can be followed.
