Indian Railways has started the facility of e-catering service for passengers. This service has started from 1 February. However, e-catering service has started at select railway stations only. Railways informed that passengers in 250 trains will get this facility at 65 stations. Please tell that to prevent the infection of Kovid-19, the Indian Railways had completely stopped the service of e-catering.
Which stations will get this facility
Railways said that in the first phase, Malda Town in West Bengal, Rourkela of Odisha, Tata of Jharkhand, Howrah, Sealdah, West Bengal, Asansol, New Jalpaiguri, Patna in Bihar, Guwahati in Assam, Dhanbad in Jharkhand, Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, 65 railway stations have been selected in Maharashtra, including Kota in Nagpur, Rajasthan, but the remaining stations will also start this facility soon.

Railways said that passengers can order their food through the e-catering mobile app ‘Food on Track’. You can download this app from Google Play Store.

You can also order food for yourself from the official website of IRCTC e-catering https://www.ecatering.irctc.co.in/. Railway provides passengers the facility of booking for food items while staying at their seats.

You can order your favorite food from In this, the passengers have to order the favorite food from the menu and then it is transported to the passengers seat. While ordering food, passengers have to provide travel details like PNR number, train name, seat / berth number.
