Mobile Laptop Charging In Train Indian Railways has made a big change in the rules for charging mobiles and laptops in the train. Under the new rule, passengers will no longer be able to charge their mobile phones or laptops during night travel on the train. According to the information, now the charging supply will be kept closed from 11 am to 5 am in the train. Railways has taken this decision keeping in mind the incidents of fire in the train. So that any kind of untoward can be avoided.
Thousands of passengers will be affected by this big decision of Indian Railways. In a media report, Public Relations Officer of Western Railway Sumit Thakur said that the Railways has taken this big decision keeping in mind the safety of passengers. He informed that under this, switches of charging point will be off from 11 am to 5 am and passengers will not be able to use them. Along with this, the authorities have also decided to conduct surprise inspections and take strict action against the employees if they are found to be defective.
Be aware that on March 13, the Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express caught fire. This fire started with one coach and on seeing it spread to seven coaches. However, it was a relief that no passenger was harmed due to the fire and all were evacuated safely. But, this incident has alerted the railway, after which now the railway is acting strictly.
