Indian Railways Latest Update New Delhi: Indian Railways (Indian Railway) has announced to run many special trains regarding Holi. Giving a big gift to the passengers, Northern Railway has announced to run 18 pairs of Holi Special Train. Northern Railway has given this information in a tweet. In a statement, Northern Railway has said that Holi special trains will be operated for different places. Along with this, it has also been said in the statement that the Coronavirus guidelines will have to be strictly followed in order to travel on the train.
Northern Railway general manager Ashutosh Gangal told news agency ANI that there is a possibility of trains getting crowded due to people returning home during Holi. To control the same crowd, it has been decided to run Holi special trains for different cities of the country from March 21 to March 31. He said that these Holi special trains will open from many stations including Anand Vihar, Jahrat Nizamuddin and New Delhi.
Gangal told that about 18 pairs of special trains will be run and some of these will run on daily and some special days. Holi special trains will also run from Mumbai’s Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Bihar. Holi special trains will also be operated from Tatanagar, Howrah and Kolkata. These trains will go to Bhagalpur and Patna. It is expected that passengers will be facilitated by the operation of these trains.
