Central Railway will run 82 special trains in view of the huge rush of passengers on Diwali and Chhath festival. At the same time, the operation of many special trains has already started. Apart from this, if you want to travel by train and you do not have a confirmed ticket, then you can travel by getting a confirmed seat in many ways. Indian Railways is providing the facility of confirmed tickets with certain terms and conditions.
Relief to the passengers going to UP-Bihar
According to the railway, train number 09183 will be run from Mumbai Central to Banaras. This train will run till 12th, 19th, 26th October and 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th November. At the same time, train number 09184 will run from Banaras to Mumbai Central. It will run from Banaras to
Mumbai Central on 14, 21, 28 October 4, 11, 18, 25, November and 2 December.
Special train from Delhi to Bihar
Before Diwali and Chhath and after the festival, 14 pairs of special trains will be run from Patna, Darbhanga, Bhagalpur to Delhi for commuting from home. The special train between Patna and Anand Vihar will run daily from October 15 to November 7. This train will leave from Patna at 10 am and will reach Anand Vihar station in Delhi around 11.30 pm via Ara, Buxar, PDDU Junction, Prayagraj, Kanpur. At the same time, this special train to go from Delhi to Patna will leave from Anand Vihar at 1 pm and will reach Patna at 14.45 pm on the second day.
How to get a confirmed ticket
Railway is giving some special facilities to the passengers for the confirmed ticket in trains, through which you can get a confirmed Tatkal ticket in minutes. For this, you have to pre-write the names of the passengers through the master list feature on the IRCTC app. After this, you will not need to give the details again while booking the ticket. This will save time and increase the chances of getting a confirmed ticket while booking.
At the same time, if any other member of your family has a confirmed ticket, but for some reason he does not want to travel, then you can travel on his ticket. This will have two advantages, you will also be able to travel and you will not have to pay the charge of canceling the ticket.
