Under this, on 26 January, several stations of Delhi Metro have been announced to be completely closed for movement. At such stations, passengers can neither climb in the metro nor get off. However, passengers can change metro trains at stations with interchange. Along with this, parking services have also been announced to be closed.
According to the directive issued by DMRC, Metro service will be stopped partially on Line-2 (Huda City Center-Samaypur Badli Routi). On the occasion of Republic Day, on January 26, the Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhavan metro station on this route will remain closed till 12 noon. However, passengers will be allowed to avail the facility of interchange from the Central Secretariat. Passengers will be able to take trains on other routes after landing at this station. At the same time, in view of Republic Day, Patel Chowk and Lok Kalyan Marg metro stations will also be closed from quarter to nine in the morning till 12 noon. In such a situation, people will neither be able to land at these stations nor will they be able to board the metro train.
In view of security on Republic Day, parking facilities will not be available at metro stations. In such a situation, on January 26, if you have left your vehicle thinking that you will park it at the metro station, then be careful. You may face problems due to lack of parking facilities. Parking facility will not be available till 2 pm on January 26. It is known that every year on the occasion of Republic Day, movement is stopped at some metro stations for security for a few hours.
