Chardham Yatra 2021: Number of pilgrims started increasing, 57 thousand people visited in 20 days

In Uttarakhand, more than 57 thousand pilgrims have visited Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham in 20 days. Kedarnath has the highest number of 20 thousand pilgrims. During Navratri, the number of pilgrims to the four Dhams is increasing.

. To prevent corona infection, earlier the number of passengers to visit the four dhams was fixed daily.

Later, the court removed the condition of the prescribed number of passengers. Along with this, the government has also abolished the requirement of e-pass.

From 18 September to 8 October, more than 57 thousand pilgrims have visited Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham.

Harish Gaur, media in-charge of Chardham Devasthanam Management Board, said that now passengers are able to visit without e-pass. On Friday, 4587 pilgrims reached the four dhams.
