Shri Ramayana Yatra: Indian Railways is starting the first Bharat Gaurav tourist train for Shri Ramayana Yatra on 21st June. This train will provide darshan of religious places related to Lord Ram.

Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train: There is great news for the devotees who have faith in Lord Shri Ram. The first Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will be run by IRCTC, an undertaking of the Indian Railways, for the Shri Ramayana Yatra on 21 June. This Bharat Gaurav tourist train will be operated by the Ministry of Railways.

The first air-conditioned Bharat Gaurav train prepared with modern facilities to promote religious tourism will be run for the Ramayana Yatra. This special tourist train will start from Delhi on June 21 and will take tourists to visit and visit all the important religious places related to Lord Shri Ram.

18 days journey

This train will tour the places related to the life of Shri Ram. A visit to Ram Janaki Temple in Janakpur, Nepal will also be included in the train tour. The entire journey will take a total of 18 days.

The first stop of the journey will be Ayodhya, the birth place of Lord Rama, where the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, Hanuman temple and Bharat Mandir in Nandigram will be visited. Departing from Ayodhya, this train will go to Buxar, where Vishwamitra’s ashram and Ganga bath program will be held at Ramrekha Ghat.

From here the train will go to Sitamarhi, where Janaki’s birth place and Ram Janaki temple in Janakpur, Nepal will be visited.

Will visit temples by buses in Kashi

After this, the next stop of the train will be Kashi, the city of Lord Shiva, from where tourists will travel by buses to the famous temples of Kashi, including the place containing Sita, Prayag, Shringverpur and Chitrakoot. During this there will be night stay in Kashi Prayag and Chitrakoot.

Bhadrachalam will be the last stop of the train

After leaving Chitrakoot, this train will reach Nashik, where Panchavati and Trimbakeshwar temple can be visited. After Nashik, the ancient Kishkindha city of Hampi will be the next stop of this train, where Hanuman birth place and other important religious and heritage temples located in Anjani mountain will be visited.

Rameswaram will be the next stop of this train after Hampi. Tourists in Rameshwaram will get the benefit of visiting the ancient Shiva temple and Dhanushkodi. After this, this train will reach Kanchipuram where Shiva Kanchi, Vishnu Kanchi and Kamakshi Mata Temple will be visited.

The last stop of this train will be Bhadrachalam located in the state of Telangana which is also known as Ayodhya of South. This train will reach Delhi on the 18th day. During this, a journey of about 8000 km will be completed by the train.

Train will be equipped with modern facilities

This train will have AC 3 class coaches. Along with this, the passengers will be served delicious vegetarian food at their berths from the modern kitchen car. Infotainment system has also been installed in the train to provide entertainment and travel information to the passengers. Along with this, security guards and CCTV cameras have also been installed in all the coaches for security.

Train is being run to promote domestic tourism

Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train is being run to promote domestic tourism in line with ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ initiative of the Government of India. IRCRC has fixed the fare of Rs 62370 per person for this 18-day journey.

In the price of this tour package, apart from rail travel, passengers will also get facilities like delicious vegetarian food, tourist sightseeing by buses, accommodation in AC hotels, guides and insurance. Government and PSU employees can also avail LTC facility on this journey as per eligibility based on the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

Payment can be made in easy installments

IRCTC has tied up with payment gateway institutions like Paytm and Razorpay to facilitate the booking process of this tour and make it more attractive for the customers, so that the tour amount can be paid in easy installments as well. The total amount for payment can be completed in installments of 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 months. This facility of payment in installments will be available on booking through debit and credit cards.

Corona guideline will be followed

The IRCTC team will also provide a safety kit to the tourists for carrying face masks, hand gloves and sanitizers while observing all the hygiene and health protocols during the entire duration of the journey. Temperature checks of all tourists and employees and frequent train sanitization at halt stations etc.
