In fact, there was a huge reduction of 12 percent in the prices of aircraft fuel ie ATF (Aviation Turbine Fuel) in the country on Monday. Let us tell you that this is the biggest cut so far in ATF. In such a situation, it is expected that in the coming days you can get a chance of cheap air travel. Airlines companies can make any announcement regarding reduction in fares.
ATF price cut in Delhi
This reduction happened due to the decrease in the prices of crude oil at the international level. Earlier, due to the increase in crude oil at the international level, the price of ATF was increasing continuously. After this, the government had also given relief to domestic airlines operating international flights from 11 percent basic excise duty on the purchase of aircraft fuel i.e. ATF (Aviation Turbine Fuel) from oil marketing companies.
Let us tell you that there has been a huge reduction in the price of ATF in Delhi by Rs 16,232.36 per kiloliter or 11.75 percent. Its price has gone up to Rs 121,915.57 per kiloliter. Now passengers have started increasing the expectation that after the reduction in ATF, air travel can be cheaper. That is, now the airlines company can consider a reduction in the fare.
Earlier there was a reduction of 2.2 percent
Earlier on July 16, there was a reduction of Rs 3,084.94 per kiloliter (2.2 per cent), and this time the cut is the biggest ever. Meanwhile, commercial gas cylinders have also become cheaper. The price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 36 to Rs 1,976.50. But in the meantime, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders. The price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder in the national capital is Rs 1,053.
