IRCTC: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has proposed to run Bharat Gaurav tourist train for ‘Ganga Pushkarala Yatra: Puri-Kashi-Ayodhya’ (‘Ganga Pushkarala Yatra: Puri-Kashi-Ayodhya’). This Rail Tour Package will start from Secunderabad on 18th April 2023

IRCTC: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has proposed to run Bharat Gaurav tourist train for ‘Ganga Pushkarala Yatra: Puri-Kashi-Ayodhya’ (‘Ganga Pushkarala Yatra: Puri-Kashi-Ayodhya’). This Rail Tour Package will start from Secunderabad on 18th April 2023. The tour of 7 nights and 8 days will end in Secunderabad on 25 April 2023. During this, the train will stop at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram stations. That is, one can board and deboard the train from these stations. In this 8 days journey people will be shown six important pilgrimage and heritage places.

Tourist special train will go to Puri, Konark, Gaya, Varanasi, Ayodhya and Prayagraj.

Puri – Lord Jagannath Temple

Konark – Sun Temple and Beach

Gaya – Vishnu Pada Temple

Varanasi – Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Corridor, Kashi Vishalakshi, Annapurna Devi Temple and evening Ganga Aarti

Ayodhya – Ram Janmabhoomi, Hanumangarhi and Aarti on the Sarayu River

Prayagraj – Triveni Sangam, Hanuman Temple and Shankar Vimana Mandapam

So many seats are reserved

There are three types of classes in the train – Second AC, Third AC and Sleeper class. A total of 656 passengers can be accommodated, of which 44 passengers are in second AC, 180 passengers in third AC, and 432 passengers in sleeper class.

Rent

To travel in sleeper class, a passenger will have to pay Rs 15,300 for single share and Rs 13,955 for double share. For third AC, a passenger will have to pay Rs 24,085 for single share and Rs 22,510 for double share. For rail travel in second AC, Rs 31,510 will have to be paid for single sharing and Rs 29,615 for double sharing.

Indian Railways is giving about 33% concession to promote Rail Tourism under Bharat Gaurav Train Scheme. This is included in the discount tour package.
