New Delhi : Western Railway has changed the timings of 25 trains keeping in view the timetable of Mumbai-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat Express. The officers provided this information.

Trains whose timings have been changed include Mumbai-Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express and its time table between Vapi and Ahmedabad railway stations in Gujarat, a release said on Tuesday. Has been done.

It has been said that due to the running of 20901/02 Mumbai Central-Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express, the timing of many trains will be changed.

The new timetable will be effective in the next few days
Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway said that only a few minutes have been changed in the train timings and the new timetable will be effective in the next few days. Thakur said that this has been done to make train operations smooth.

According to the release, Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Gujarat Superfast Express, Howrah-Ahmedabad Superfast Express, Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur Humsafar Express, and Bandra Terminus-Ramnagar Superfast Express are some of the trains whose timings have been changed . Changes have been made.

cThe indigenously designed and manufactured semi-high speed Mumbai-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat Express was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the Gujarat capital on September 30 this year and commercial operations were started the next day.

Local train held up in Thane

On the other hand, a local train was held up for over 20 minutes at Thane’s Titwala station in Maharashtra on Wednesday morning by angry commuters over the delay in operation of suburban train service. Officials said a group of 10 to 15 passengers, including women, jumped onto the tracks at around 8.30 am at Titwala, 55 km from Mumbai, due to which the local train had to be stopped.

He told that this train was going from Kasara in Thane district to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in South Mumbai. Officials said that the railway police later removed the protesters from the tracks. The local train service is considered the lifeline of Mumbai and its surrounding Thane and Palghar districts, and is preferred by most office goers during the morning rush hour.
