The Humsafar Express, which was canceled due to the lockdown caused by Corona, will start running again tomorrow i.e. from August 3. It has been informed by the Indian Railways that the operation of the full AC Humsafar Express train connecting four states is resuming from Wednesday, August 3. Weekly Humsafar Express Train No. 20827 is being operated from Thursday 4 August. At the same time, the train running from Santragachi no. 20828 is being started from tomorrow i.e. Wednesday 3 August.
Humsafar train will run again after two and a half years
The Railways had stopped this train on March 2020 in the first wave of lockdown during the Corona period. After about two and a half years, this train will again start running on its scheduled route and time from tomorrow. Let us tell you that this train connects four states and it completes the journey from Jabalpur to Santragachi in 19 hours. Railways has completed all the work including repair of coach before running the train and now the train is ready to run on the track.
Humsafar will run from Jabalpur to Santragachi from August 4
According to the information received from the railways, the operation of weekly Humsafar Express train number 20827 running between Jabalpur to Santragachi is starting from Thursday, August 4. In this regard, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Vishwa Ranjan said that before Kovid-19, this Humsafar Express used to run from Jabalpur. It was canceled during the Corona epidemic.
He said that keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, the railway administration is now going to restart the Humsafar train. This Humsafar Express connects Madhya Pradesh with various stations in Chhattisgarh, Odisha and West Bengal.
Know Time Table
Train No. 20828 will leave Santragachi at 20.35 hrs on Wednesday, 3rd August and will reach Jabalpur at 15.00 hrs on Thursday, 4th August via Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chakradharpur, Raulkela, Jharsiguda, Raigarh, Bilaspur, Shahdol, Katni South Marg.
Train No. 20827 weekly Humsafar train will leave Jabalpur at 20.35 hrs on every Thursday from 4th August and will reach Santragachi at 15.30 hrs on Friday.
This Humsafar Express will run from Jabalpur with 18 coaches. In this, 1152 berths will be available for passengers in 3 tier air conditioned.
Senior DCM Vishwa Ranjan told that advance reservation for Humsafar train has started through railway reservation center and internet. Passengers can enjoy their smooth journey by making advance reservation.
