The Civil Aviation Ministry has approved two new routes from the Hindon Air Base here and has given the green signal to resume travel on an old route.
These routes have been approved under the UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) scheme from Hindon airbase in Ghaziabad.

The third route is of Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand, for which the airline started in 2019. But it has been closed since a year
Currently, there is a flight service from Hindon to Hubballi (4 days a week) and Kalaburagi (3 days a week) in Karnataka. Proposals were also made for Shimla, Nashik and Jamnagar.
In a conversation with our associate newspaper Times of India, Shobha Bhardwaj, director of Hindon Civil Terminal, said,
‘The Ghaziabad to Ayodhya route has been approved by the Civil Aviation Ministry. It is possible that this service will be started by the end of this year. While the route between Kushinagar and Pithoragarh will be handled by a leading airline.
