The first centralized air-conditioned railway station in the country is named Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal. It is made in Bengaluru and it is almost ready. It will be started very soon.

The first AC railway terminal has been built in Bayappanahalli area. After the commencement of this station, KSR Bengaluru and Yashwantpur stations will be less crowded.

The first AC railway station has been equipped with all modern facilities. At this railway station, you will feel exactly like the airport. A cost of about Rs 314 crore has been incurred in preparing the centralized AC terminal.
More express trains will run
With the introduction of the country’s first AC railway station, more express trains can be run till Bengaluru. The advantage of this will be that most of the districts of Karnataka will be connected to the capital Bengaluru through the rail line.
